Upbit Temporarily Suspends POL Transactions for Hard Fork Support on September 26th

The popular South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has recently announced that it will temporarily suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for Polygon (POL) tokens on September 26th at 0:00 KST due to an upcoming hard fork on the Polygon network. Upbit users will not be able to deposit or withdraw POL tokens during the suspension period. However, trading of POL tokens will not be affected and will continue as usual. Upbit expects the suspension to be lifted shortly after the hard fork is completed successfully. Polygon is a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum that aims to improve transaction speed and reduce gas fees. The upcoming hard fork is expected to bring several improvements to the Polygon network, including enhanced security and stability.
