WazirX Hack: Stolen Funds Laundered Through Tornado Cash

WazirX, the Indian cryptocurrency exchange that suffered a hack in July, has seen the hackers move 20,000 ETH, or around $65.5 million, of the stolen funds through the crypto mixing protocol Tornado Cash over the last seven days. This represents over 55% of the stolen funds and is likely an attempt by the hackers to launder the funds and make them untraceable. Security experts believe that the remaining 34,154 ETH, or around $83 million, is still held in the hacker's address. The hack on WazirX was initially estimated to have resulted in losses of more than $230 million.
