WazirX to Restore Users' Stolen Assets in 'Couple of Days'

The Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has announced that it will restore users' assets that were stolen in a hack last month. In a blog post, the exchange said that "user balances on the platform will be restored to the state they were in at 1 pm IST on 18th July (the time of the hack)." WazirX was hacked on August 5th, and $230 million worth of crypto assets were stolen. The exchange has been working to recover the stolen assets and has been in regular contact with law enforcement. In the blog post, WazirX said that it has "been working tirelessly to recover the stolen assets and to improve the security of our platform." The exchange said that it has "taken a number of steps to enhance the security of our platform" and that it is "confident that we have made our platform more secure." WazirX said that it will send emails to all affected users with instructions on how to recover their stolen assets. The exchange said that it expects to restore all user balances within "a couple of days."
