"A prominent whale known for its preference for ETH and LINK investments has borrowed 10 million USDC on AAVE and subsequently purchased approximately 2,836 stETH. In a separate transaction, the same whale acquired 313.24 WBTC with 20 million USDC a week ago. These recent whale activities coincide with growing anticipation surrounding the potential approval of a spot ETF for ETH by the US SEC. In another notable development, James Fickel, the founder of the Amaranth Foundation and a significant whale known for his bullish stance on ETH/BTC, has borrowed 350 WBTC worth $25 million on AAVE and purchased 43,784 ETH. Fickel has consistently utilized DeFi protocols to leverage his ETH/BTC positions since January this year."
