XRP ETF Expected by 2025, Ripple CEO Says
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has predicted that an XRP ETF will be available by 2025. In an interview with Fox Business, Garlinghouse said that an XRP ETF is "inevitable" and that he expects to see spot XRP, SOL, and ADA ETFs follow suit after BTC and ETH ETFs. The SEC's ongoing lawsuit against Ripple has created challenges for the company in getting its XRP ETF approved. However, the CEO believes that the SEC is "losing the war on crypto" and that the market will eventually demand an XRP ETF. XRP has the potential to compete with BTC and ETH ETFs, as well as with SOL and ADA ETFs.
