A 50s man, identified as Mr. Kang, who attacked the CEO of Haru Invest in court has had his 5-year prison sentence confirmed, according to Yonhap News. The incident occurred at the Seoul Southern District Court in August of last year. Haru Invest CEO Attacked During Hearing Mr. Kang attacked Mr. Lee, CEO of the virtual asset deposit service provider Haru Invest, during a hearing regarding allegations of stealing approximately 800 billion KRW worth of virtual assets. The method of attack was a stabbing in the neck with a weapon. Haru Invest Executives Acquitted Notably, Mr. Lee and other Haru Invest executives were acquitted in the first trial in June, despite the ongoing investigation into the alleged fraud.
