Base Outpaces Arbitrum and Optimism in Active Addresses

Coinbase's Layer 2 network, Base, has surpassed the combined active addresses of Arbitrum and Optimism, two leading Layer 2 solutions. According to IntoTheBlock data, Base's active address count reached over 1.05 million. This impressive milestone comes shortly after Base's launch, highlighting its rapid adoption within the cryptocurrency community. In comparison, Arbitrum and Optimism, which have been operating for a longer period, have 529,000 and 408,000 active addresses, respectively. Base's success can be attributed to its user-friendly interface, low transaction fees, and compatibility with popular decentralized applications (dApps).
