Binance's Escaped Employee in Kenya, Faces Extradition to Nigeria

Binance's Africa director, Nadeem Anjarwalla, escaped detention in Nigeria and is now in Kenya. Coindesk reports that Anjarwalla could be extradited to Nigeria this week through Interpol. The Nigerian government detained Anjarwalla and Binance's head of financial compliance, Tigran Gambaryan, in February. Previously on **21 April 2024**, "Binance’s Africa director, Nadeem Anjarwalla, who was detained in Nigeria and escaped, is now in Kenya and faces extradition back to Nigeria, Coindesk reported. Coindesk added that “Anjarwalla could be extradited to Nigeria this week via Interpol,” citing local media reports. The Nigerian government detained Binance’s head of financial compliance, Tigran Gambaryan, and Anjarwalla in February."
