$6.23 Billion Worth of BTC Options Expire Today

Today, a total of $6.23 billion worth of Bitcoin options are set to expire at 5 PM KST, as per data from cryptocurrency options exchange Deribit. The put/call ratio currently stands at 0.68, indicating a slight preference for bearish bets. The max pain price, which represents the price at which the most options buyers will lose their premium, is currently at $61,000. In addition to Bitcoin options, Ethereum options worth $3.11 billion will also expire at the same time, with a put/call ratio of 0.51 and a max pain price of $3,100. Previously on 25 April 2024, "According to cryptocurrency options exchange Deribit, Bitcoin options worth $6.23 billion are set to expire on April 26 at 5 PM KST. The put/call ratio is 0.68, and the max pain price, the price at which the most options buyers will lose their premium, is $61,000. Additionally, Ethereum options worth $3.11 billion will also expire at the same time, with a put/call ratio of 0.51 and a max pain price of $3,100."
