Binance Accounts Exploited Through Google Plugin Aggr; Users Beware

Binance users may have had their accounts compromised due to a vulnerability in the Google plugin Aggr via X, according to a report from blockchain analytics platform Ubblechain. The plugin is used for auto-trading. A Chinese user recently lost $1 million worth of cryptocurrency while using the plugin to conduct trades. Another user also reported losing funds in a similar manner back in March. Ubblechain advises Binance users to disable Aggr via X and other similar plugins until the vulnerability is patched. Binance has not yet commented on the report. ### Tips to Protect Your Binance Account Use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Be wary of phishing emails and websites that may try to trick you into giving up your login credentials. Only download plugins from trusted sources. Keep your software up to date. * Monitor your Binance account activity regularly for any unauthorized transactions. If you believe your Binance account has been compromised, you should contact Binance support immediately.
