US Bitcoin Spot ETFs Net Positive Inflows of $36 Million on August 16

On August 16, 2023, a total of 11 US Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced a net inflow of $36 million, indicating renewed investor interest in the cryptocurrency. The inflows were driven by Blackrock iShares ($20.1 million), Fidelity FBTC ($61.3 million), Bitwise BITB ($12 million), ARK 21Shares ARKB ($13.4 million), and Franklin Templeton EZBC ($1.7 million). The only outflow was observed in Grayscale GBTC (-$72.9 million). This influx of capital suggests that investors are becoming more comfortable with the spot ETF structure and see it as a viable way to gain exposure to Bitcoin.
