Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin's Long-Term Price Surge

Coindesk reports that Michael Saylor, the founder of Microstrategy, gave his predictions for the future price of Bitcoin during his appearance at the Bitcoin 2024 conference. He stated that "Bitcoin's market capitalization is currently around $1.3 trillion, which is only 0.1% of global wealth. Under the base scenario, by 2045, 21 years from now, Bitcoin will be worth over $13 million and comprise 7% of global wealth, with a market cap of $280 trillion. This would require a 29% annual return." "Under a bull-case scenario, he continued, Bitcoin could be worth as much as $49 million, representing 22% of global wealth. In a bear-case scenario, Bitcoin could be worth $3 million, representing 2% of global wealth." According to CoinMarketCap, BTC is currently trading at $67,884.83, up 4.84%.
