US Department of Justice Indicts 4,100 BTC Fraud Suspects The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced the indictment of two Singaporean nationals for allegedly stealing and laundering 4,100 Bitcoin (BTC), worth approximately $230 million at the time of the theft. According to the indictment, the suspects, known as Chee Tat Ng and Rui Chen Ng, deceived the victim, a cryptocurrency investor, and stole the BTC in 2020. The suspects then laundered the stolen funds through various cryptocurrency exchanges and mixers to conceal their activities.
