Bitcoin Whales Add 266k BTC to Their Holdings Since Year Start

Bitcoin whale addresses have shown an impressive accumulation trend as the year progresses. These key whale addresses, holding between 1,000 to 10,000 BTC, have collectively accumulated 266,000 BTC since the start of the year, representing 1.24% of the total BTC supply. This accumulation has pushed their collective holdings to 25.16% of the total Bitcoin supply. Previously on 23 April 2024, "On-chain analytics platform Santiment has reported via X that "key whale bitcoin addresses holding between 1,000 to 10,000 BTC have collectively accumulated 266,000 BTC since the start of the year to date. This represents 1.24% of the total BTC supply". According to data shared by Santiment, these addresses now hold 25.16% of the total Bitcoin supply."
