Bithumb Temporarily Halts XLM and AQUA Deposits and Withdrawals

Bithumb, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea, has announced the temporary suspension of deposit and withdrawal services for Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Aqua (AQUA). This suspension is due to a scheduled system maintenance. Bithumb has not yet announced when the maintenance will be completed and services will be restored. However, the exchange has stated that it will provide updates as they become available. In the meantime, Bithumb users are advised to refrain from attempting to deposit or withdraw XLM or AQUA. Any deposits or withdrawals made during the suspension period will not be processed until services are restored. This is not the first time that Bithumb has suspended deposits and withdrawals for XLM. In March 2022, the exchange also suspended XLM deposits and withdrawals due to a system upgrade. Bithumb is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, with a daily trading volume of over $1 billion. The exchange offers a wide range of cryptocurrency trading pairs, including XLM/USDT and AQUA/USDT.
