Bithumb: Transparency Concerns as White Papers Fall Short

Out of the 282 coins listed on Bithumb's KRW market, a recent investigation revealed that only 11% (30 coins) provide Korean white papers on the platform. The lack of transparency is further exacerbated by the absence of Korean translation support for white papers in web browsers for 139 coins. These coins primarily offer English PDF white papers. Adding to the concerns, two notable coins, Clayton (KLAY) and Fincia (FNSA), also have English-only white papers on Bithumb. Furthermore, five coins (PEPE, MEW, FRONT, AL, BSV) have no white papers available on the platform. Without comprehensive and accessible white papers, investors may be disadvantaged in making informed decisions about the coins they choose to invest in. Bithumb's limited transparency practices raise questions about its commitment to investor protection and its compliance with industry standards.
