Bitstamp Begins Repaying Mt. Gox Creditors in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash

On July 25 (local time), Bitstamp, which is scheduled to begin repaying Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to Mt. Gox creditors, officially announced via its X (formerly Twitter) that it had "received assets from Mt. Gox and is working to repay creditors who are Mt. Gox creditors and have Bitstamp accounts."
Bitstamp added, "Security work for the repayment of the bonds may take up to a week, and a separate notice will be given when the transfer is completed. UK residents will follow a separate repayment plan." Coinis had previously cited a report by The Block that Bitstamp would begin repaying BTC and BCH to Mt. Gox creditors starting July 25.
