BlackRock's Tokenized Bitcoin Fund Pays Out Millions in Dividends

BlackRock's Ethereum-based tokenized fund BUIDL has distributed $7 million in dividends to its investors since its launch in March. The fund, which invests in digital asset companies and projects, has paid out a total of $265,000 in dividends in March, $1.21 million in April, $1.67 million in May, $1.82 million in June, and $2.12 million in July. The BUIDL fund is managed by BlackRock's blockchain advisory arm and is designed to provide investors with exposure to the digital asset ecosystem. The fund has a diversified portfolio of investments, including blockchain infrastructure, digital asset exchanges, and decentralized finance projects. BlackRock's investment in BUIDL is a sign of the growing interest in digital assets from traditional financial institutions. As the digital asset ecosystem continues to mature, we can expect to see more investment products and services from traditional financial institutions. ---
