Coinbase Prime Receives $12.96 Million Worth of BLUR's May Unlock

Coinbase Prime, the institutional arm of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, has received an estimated $12.96 million worth of Blur (BLUR) tokens that were unlocked in May, according to on-chain data analytics provider Emberchain. The funds were reportedly sent to Coinbase Prime through a multi-sig wallet five hours ago, which had received the tokens from the unlock contract eight hours prior. This latest deposit brings the total amount of unlocked BLUR tokens held by Coinbase Prime to 23%, or approximately $690 million, of its total trading volume. Previously on May 15, 2024, Coinbase Prime received an initial deposit of 35,540,000 BLUR tokens, worth approximately $12.96 million at the time. This suggests that Coinbase Prime is playing a significant role in facilitating the trading of BLUR tokens, which are the native tokens of the Blur NFT marketplace.
