Crypto Governance Advisory Firm MetaLeX Secures $2.75 Million Funding

MetaLeX, a crypto governance advisory firm, has raised $2.75 million in funding in a seed round, the company announced on June 22. The project is building new governance standards for crypto groups as they become increasingly decentralized. The funding round was led by IOSG Ventures, with participation from HashKey, SNZ, HashGlobal, and others. MetaLeX is a graduate of the Alchemist Accelerator program. The company's clients include DAOs, protocols, and exchanges. MetaLeX helps these organizations develop and implement governance frameworks and processes that ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness. "The need for governance in the crypto space is growing rapidly," said MetaLeX CEO and co-founder Thomas Dunleavy. "We are excited to help our clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of decentralized governance." MetaLeX was founded in 2021 by Dunleavy and CTO Eric Meltzer. The company is headquartered in New York City.
