$9.4 Million Worth of WBTC Deposited to Binance by Cumberland’s Purported Address
On-chain analytics firm Scopescan reported that a purported wallet address tied to Cumberland deposited 155 WBTC (around $9.4 million) to Binance after the price of Bitcoin surged by approximately 6.4%. This new development comes after other recent events concerning Cumberland’s operations. For instance, in January 2023, Scopescan identified a wallet address connected to Cumberland receiving 7,000 ETH from FTX just before the latter's collapse.
