ETH Spot ETF Demand Projected at 20-25% of BTC ETF Demand, Predicts Bloomberg Analyst
According to CryptoSlate, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart recently estimated that the demand for an ETH spot ETF will likely be 20-25% of the demand for a BTC spot ETF. This projection is based on the current market size of ETH, which is roughly 30% that of BTC. Seyffart also noted that ETH has less on-chain utility relative to BTC and that ETH spot ETF issuers cannot participate in staking. While an ETH spot ETF is considered significant news, its impact is anticipated to be less than that of a BTC spot ETF.
