New Ethereum Scam Exploits RPC Functionality

Blockchain security firm SlowMist has detected a new type of cryptocurrency scam that exploits the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) functionality of Ethereum (ETH) nodes. Cointelegraph reports that the attackers send a small amount of USDT and ETH to the victim's imToken wallet to gain trust. They then trick the victim into switching to a node controlled by the attacker, enabling them to steal funds.
