ETF Industry Expert Predicts Ethereum Spot ETF Launch in July

Nate Geraci, CEO of U.S. ETF provider ETF store, has given his prediction on the launch date of an Ethereum spot ETF. According to Geraci, the deadline for amending the S-1 (registration statement) for an Ethereum spot ETF is July 8 (local time). He anticipates that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will process the amendment promptly and has set July 12 as the final approval date. Based on this timeline, Geraci predicts that the ETH spot ETF could be launched in the third week of July. Geraci's prediction aligns with previous statements he made about the potential approval of an Ethereum spot ETF. In May, he expressed optimism that the SEC would approve an ETF in the near future, citing the growing institutional interest in cryptocurrencies. The launch of an Ethereum spot ETF would be a significant development for the cryptocurrency industry, as it would provide investors with a regulated and accessible way to gain exposure to Ethereum. It would also help to legitimize Ethereum as an investment asset class.
