EtherFi Begins Native minting of weETH on L2s

EtherFi (ETHFI), a liquid staking protocol for Ethereum, has announced that weETH native minting on L2s is now live. weETH can now be staked natively on Ethereum L2 networks Blast and Mode, with Linear, Optimism, and Base coming soon. This move is significant as it allows users to stake their ETH on L2s, which offer faster and cheaper transactions than the Ethereum mainnet. It also makes it easier for users to access the benefits of liquid staking, such as earning rewards on their staked ETH without having to lock it up for an extended period. Previously on 20 April 2024, Ethereum liquid staking protocol EtherFi (ETHFI) announced via X that "weETH Native Minting on L2s is now live." "weETH is now natively stakeable on Ethereum L2 networks ~Blast, ~Mode, with ~Linear, ~Optimism, ~Base coming very soon," it added.
