Massive $7.66 Million ETH Haul: Fake Phishing Address Empties Wallets

Cyber Alert recently uncovered a sophisticated phishing attack that resulted in the theft of a substantial amount of cryptocurrency. The perpetrators behind the fake phishing address successfully drained funds from various blockchain networks and converted them into Ethereum (ETH). Subsequently, the attackers transferred a significant amount of the stolen ETH, totaling 2,881 ETH (approximately $7.66 million), to two anonymous addresses. This move further complicates efforts to recover the stolen funds and identify the individuals responsible for the attack.
