FIU Conducts On-Site Inspections of Closed CoinMarket Exchanges
FIU conducts on-site inspections to verify the status of customer asset returns by closed CoinMarket exchanges. FIU inspected closed exchanges about the status of customer funds returns and types of remaining coins and how they were stored. The Financial Services Commission’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) is reportedly conducting on-site inspections of closed CoinMarket exchanges. Currently, seven CoinMarket exchanges have announced their closure, including CashRes, Coinbit, HuobiKorea, ProBit, 10NT, Okebit, and Hanbitco.
