FTX Pays $25 Million to Settle With 7 Whistleblowers
FTX has paid over $25 million to seven anonymous whistleblowers who raised concerns about the company’s issues, according to The Block. One of the whistleblowers, a former FTX US executive, reportedly confronted executives including founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) about “misleading regulators and investors” and not having “proper corporate structure.” He resigned in September 2022, and agreed to a settlement of $16 million.
