Kansas City Fed President Esther George stated she is "not ready to support a rate cut," according to a newswire report. "I don't think we are ready to support a rate cut, with inflation still moving toward our target and with a very strong labor market," George said. "Two years ago we had inflation at multi-decade highs. We have to look at this stuff very carefully. We have to plan for, not the best case, but the worst case."
