Kwon Do-hyung Appeals Extradition Decision

Kwon Do-hyung, the CEO of Terraform Labs, has filed an appeal against the Podgorica High Court's decision to approve his extradition to Korea and the United States. Kwon's lawyers argue that the decision is groundless and illegal, and that the court misinterpreted the law. This is not the first time the Montenegrin Supreme Court has made a wrong judgment in favor of third parties, according to Kwon's lawyers. Kwon was arrested in March 2023 for allegedly using forged travel documents while attempting to leave the country. He was released, but the issue of his extradition remained unresolved. Previously on 23 April 2024, Kwon Do-hyung was arrested for allegedly using forged travel documents while attempting to leave the country.
