Macron:

President Emmanuel Macron of France recently stated in an interview while on a diplomatic visit to Serbia that he "was not informed in advance about the visit of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov to France." Moreover, he emphasized that "this issue will be handled by the French justice system, his detention is not a political issue." Notably, Durov had earlier explained to the police that he had intended to have dinner with Macron on the evening of his arrest.
