Mt.Gox Deposits 61,500 BTC to Exchanges for Repayments, Holds 80,000 BTC

Mt.Gox has deposited a total of 61,500 BTC to the exchanges responsible for repayment, according to on-chain analyst EmberCN. This represents approximately $3.894 billion worth of Bitcoin. Despite these deposits, Mt.Gox still holds 80,126 BTC (valued at $5.288 billion) that have yet to be transferred to the exchanges. The repayment plan involves distributing 142,000 BTC and 143,000 BCH to creditors by October 31, 2023. The recent deposits bring Mt.Gox closer to meeting this obligation.
