MTL Snapshot-Based Airdrop to Accompany Metal's Layer 2 Transition

Metal (MTL), a well-known cryptocurrency payment solution, announced on its official website that it will take a snapshot of MTL token balances on the Ethereum (ETH) mainnet. This is in preparation for Metal Layer 2's transition to the Optimism Superchain. The snapshot will serve as the basis for an airdrop of MTL v2 tokens on the MTL Layer 2 blockchain. The dates for the snapshot and airdrop have not been made public yet. Last month, Metal Layer 2 was officially launched. Previously on April 22, Metal announced a snapshot of MTL token balances on the Ethereum (ETH) mainnet as it prepares to transition to Layer 2 on the Optimism Superchain. The snapshot will determine the airdrop of MTL v2 tokens on the MTL Layer 2 blockchain.
