On-Chain Derivatives Trading Volume Declines for Third Consecutive Week

On-chain derivatives weekly trading volume has declined for three consecutive weeks, according to data from DeFiLlama. The figure, which stood at $64.6 billion during the period of July 27 (local time) - August 2, declined to $62.9 billion the following week and further to $40.4 billion last week. Several macroeconomic uncertainties have contributed to the decline in trading volume, including the uncertainty surrounding the US general election, heightened tensions in the Middle East, and the possibility that the US Federal Reserve will not lower interest rates next month.
