Optimism Launches Fourth Builder Incentive Program Worth $25 Million in OP
Optimism, an Ethereum (ETH) Layer 2 network, has announced the launch of its fourth incentive program, offering $25.4 million worth of OP tokens to builders deploying smart contracts on the Optimism network. The incentive program is designed to boost the development of the Optimism ecosystem and attract new builders to the platform. It will distribute 10 million OP tokens to eligible builders who meet certain criteria, including deploying smart contracts on Optimism testnets and mainnet, generating transaction volume, and contributing to the growth of the Optimism community. The incentive application process will be open until June 7 (local time). Interested builders can apply through the Optimism website. This is the fourth builder incentive program launched by Optimism since its inception in 2019. The previous programs have distributed a total of 30 million OP tokens to builders, helping to accelerate the growth of the Optimism ecosystem. The launch of the fourth incentive program is a testament to Optimism's commitment to supporting the development of its ecosystem and fostering innovation in the Layer 2 space.
