Polygon's on-chain metrics rise in Q2: Messari

In a recent report, crypto data analytics firm Messari found that Polygon (MATIC) saw its daily active addresses increase by 47.6% quarter-over-quarter to 1.2 million, while its average daily transactions grew by 3.9% to 4.1 million. The report also noted that Polygon's average transaction fee on its proof-of-stake (PoS) network decreased by 41.1% to $0.01, which Messari attributed to the activation of EIP-4844 (proto-danksharding, reducing L2 fees) on its mainnet in the previous quarter. Polygon is set to undergo a MATIC→POL token migration in September and is also running a developer grant program.
