Polygon Labs' head of institutional capital formation, Colin Butler, believes that "tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) represent a $30 trillion market opportunity." He explained that "the global pool of assets is about $300 trillion, of which about $100 trillion is owned by family offices with $10 million to $30 million in their net worth. We see that today their allocation to alternative assets is very low, so we think the right number for banks to tell their clients to allocate to things like real assets should be around 20% of their portfolio."
