According to Cos (余弦), founder of blockchain security company SlowMist, a third-party analysis platform integrated into Safe Wallet was found to be collecting the private key and password of some users. Fortunately, the white hat discovered the vulnerability and actions have been taken. It does not seem to be the doing of the third-party analysis platform, but rather, sensitive information was collected due to the misuse of Sentry. Safe Wallet has taken the following measures to ensure the security of its users: - The vulnerable code has been removed. - All affected users have been notified and advised to change their passwords. - Safe Wallet is working with security experts to investigate the incident and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. Safe Wallet users are advised to be vigilant and to take steps to protect their accounts, such as using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication.
