SEC-ETH Spot ETF Filers Could Take 3 Months or More to File S-1

The SEC has begun speaking with ETH spot ETF filers about their S-1 filings. This indicates that the two sides have agreed on the work that needs to be done. The SEC could approve the 19b-4 filings as soon as tomorrow, and then continue their S-1 discussions with the filers over the next several weeks/months. However, Bloomberg ETF specialist James Seyffart said via Twitter that “Even if the SEC and ETH spot ETF filers do start having substantive S-1 discussions, it could still take 3+ months or more to reach a conclusion — though it’s possible they could wrap things up in a matter of weeks if they work ridiculously quickly.”
