SEC OK's 19b-4 for 8 ETH Spot ETFs, Including BlackRock and Fidelity

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved 19b-4 filings for eight Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to The Block. The filings were made by BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, and other companies. The 19b-4 form is a request for review of an ETF's registration statement. Once the SEC approves a 19b-4 filing, the ETF can then file a registration statement (S-1) with the SEC. If the S-1 is approved, the ETF can begin trading. The SEC has not yet approved any S-1 filings for Ethereum spot ETFs. However, some insiders believe that the SEC could approve an S-1 filing for an Ethereum spot ETF within the next few weeks. If the SEC does approve an S-1 filing for an Ethereum spot ETF, it would be a major milestone for the cryptocurrency industry. It would also provide investors with a new and easy way to gain exposure to Ethereum. ```
