Soneum Sparks Program Seeks to Grow Layer 2 Web3 Ecosystem

Soneum Sparks, a startup incubation program led by Sony Group, is set to open applications soon, offering support to early-stage projects, with a focus on Layer 2 (L2) blockchain solutions. According to SOTA Watanabe, founder of the Astar (ASTR) network, the program will begin accepting applications shortly. It will be backed by 55 partners, including Sony Music, Sony Pictures, and the Sony Innovation Fund. The program aims to foster the growth of Layer 2 solutions, which are designed to improve the scalability, speed, and cost-effectiveness of blockchain networks. By providing mentorship, resources, and access to Sony's vast network, Soneum Sparks seeks to accelerate the development of innovative Web3 projects.
