StarkNet to Expand Interoperability with Cosmos IBC Integration

StarkWare, the organization behind StarkNet (STRK), has announced its plans to integrate support for the Cosmos (ATOM) Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. This integration will enable StarkNet, an Ethereum Layer 2 ZK-rollup, to seamlessly interact with the Cosmos ecosystem, which consists of numerous independent blockchains. StarkNet's collaboration with Informal Systems, a prominent contributor to Cosmos, has facilitated this integration. The Cosmos SDK currently powers the Cosmos platform, allowing for the creation of custom blockchains. StarkNet aims to enhance its decentralization and interoperability through this integration. With this integration, StarkNet users will be able to effortlessly transfer assets and data to and from Cosmos and its connected blockchains.
