Stand with Crypto (SwC), a non-profit crypto advocacy group, has officially launched in the UK. The organization aims to promote understanding and adoption of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets in the country. The UK launch comes ahead of the country's general election on July 4th. SwC believes that the UK has the potential to become a global hub for fintech, crypto, and tokenization. To support this, they have released a set of recommendations for the UK government, including: - Implementing a comprehensive regulatory framework for crypto assets - Providing clarity on staking rules - Creating a digital assets working group SwC's mission is to educate policymakers, businesses, and the public about the benefits and risks of cryptocurrencies.
