This transition eliminates centralized data indexing operations, instead relying on decentralized and token-centric operations without intermediaries. The Graph introduced its indexing tool, Subgraphs, in 2018 and currently indexes over 55 chains. This transition to a decentralized infrastructure aligns with the project's vision of empowering a decentralized web where applications can access data in a scalable, efficient, and reliable manner.
