In approximately four hours, former US President Donald Trump is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the Bitcoin Conference 2024. The speech is scheduled to begin at 4 PM KST and last for around 30 minutes. This will be the first time former President Trump has attended the Bitcoin Conference. Foreign media sources predict that Trump will emphasize the need for the US to lead the cryptocurrency market, promote Bitcoin mining, and support the "strategic assetization" of Bitcoin. (Strategic assets are convertible assets held by monetary authorities to address trade imbalances or exchange rate fluctuations. The US Federal Reserve currently holds gold, silver, and Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) as strategic assets.) Additionally, former President Trump has been known to refer to himself as the "cryptocurrency president" at a fundraiser in San Francisco last month. According to CoinMarketCap, BTC is currently trading at $68,874.42, up 2.50%.
