Upbit USDT Market Fees to be Adjusted on August 19: Takers 60% and Makers Free

Upbit, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea, has announced that it will be adjusting the fees for its USDT market on August 19, 2023. The exchange stated that the taker fee will be reduced from 0.25% to 0.1%, while the maker fee will be reduced to 0%. This move by Upbit is likely to be welcomed by traders, as it will reduce the cost of trading USDT on the exchange. The fee reduction is also likely to make Upbit more competitive with other exchanges that offer low or no fees for USDT trading. In addition to the fee reduction, Upbit also announced that it will be completing maintenance on its USDT market server on August 19th. The maintenance will take place from 09:00 to 15:00 UTC.
