WeMade Facing $12.3 Million Lawsuit From Ex-Employees Over Unfulfilled WEMIX Token Promises

WeMade, the developer behind the WEMIX blockchain project, is facing a massive damages lawsuit from former and current employees. According to a recent electronic disclosure, 27 individuals, including Kwon Mo, have filed a pre-litigation suit against WeMade, claiming that the company promised to grant them WEMIX tokens. The plaintiffs are seeking KRW 16.2 billion (approx. $12.3 million), which represents 4% of WeMade's capital. WeMade has stated that it plans to respond through legal channels. This lawsuit follows the merger of WeMade Tree, the original developer of the WEMIX project, into WeMade in February 2022.
